Sería una pasada que el programa Overhaulin tambíen se realizara en España a un nivel parecido, esta claro que no igual, pero ya sería todo un logro para, digamos, la gente que le gusta remozar sus vehículos, "tunear", tener la ilusión de que por lo menos una vez al año Chip Foose nos diera un repaso a alguno de nuestras viejas glorias o porqué no a alguno nuevo de nuestra propia casa.

Estoy también con vosotros en que estaria bien tener un Overhauling Español, pero cada vez que lo pienso, sólo veo trabas, hay que ser realista.
Lo primero es diferencia entre "Remozar" y "Tunear", son cosas distintas. Remozar es dejar el coche en un estado fetem vea quien vea ese coche se quedará asombrado, da igual edad, sexo... Mientras en tunear, por lo menos aqui en España es el añadir sin ton ni son, deacuerdo que hay muy buenos profesionales del tuning, pero pocos la verdad... y pocos coches tuning veras tu en España en condiciones, en el punto optimo sin sobrecargarlo.
Si se hiciera el programa en España, se terminaria desviando al tuning, seguro, y perderia la esencia. Claros ejemplos son programas de otros paises que han sido traidos y literalmente se los han cargado las cadenas de televisión. Y la verdad, para hacer una cagada no hacer nada.
Otro punto a destacar es el tema de piezas, en la version de Estados Unidos si estan reparando un coche y les hace falta cambiar un paño porque este oxidado o cualquier otra pieza; la encuentran... ¿porque? sencillamente en el pais hay empresas que viven de hacer replicas de piezas de coches clasicos (de culto); encontrarás de todo para cadillac, chevrolet, ford (esta ultima hasta tiene en su propia fabrica piezas nuevas para coches clasicos, son listos y sacan tajada de ello) Sin contar también el tema de motores. Mientras en España si estas restaurando un simple 600 te costará encontrar repuestos, los encontrarás, pero tardarás 3 veces más. ¿Que supone esto? Costes elevados.
Por último la materia prima, Estados Unidos esta lleno de "coches de culto" autenticas máquinas que fueron mitos en sus época... correcto que en Europa tambíen tenemos de esto, pero, piensa rápido en 5 coches de culto, verás como más de la mitad son americanos.
Señores, con los pies en el suelo imposible hacer esto en España; a pesar de todo, ¡¡ seguiré soñando que remozan mi coche !!
